The Westonka Horticultural Society is the perfect place for you to share your gardening ideas with the novice gardener and other hobbyists and to learn from the professionals.Providing resources and knowledgeable members to share in your learning experience, you will gain confidence as you begin an exciting journey into the world of horticulture.

Hobbyist:

Do you spend most of your free time in the garden? If so, then you are probably a hobby gardener. You are always looking for the newest and some time oldest plant to fill that one last spot. Just when your friends and relatives think you could not possibly find space in your yard for another garden, you are digging and creating a new one.

The Westonka Horticultural Society is the perfect place for you to share your gardening ideas with the novice gardener and other hobbyists and to learn from the professionals. You are a great resource for the novice gardener, having already tried just about every plant on the market. You are considered the caretaker of the earth.

Professional:

The expert, qualified, skilled, and possibly certified in some form of horticulture, the professional gardener/landscaper usually has extensive training in one of the many fields of gardening and/or landscaping.

The Westonka Horticultural Society will give you the opportunity to make contact with others in your field of interest. Members will be a great resource to learn new trends, likes and dislikes of the consumer and be allies in your business venture. The Westonka Horticultural Society will strive to bring you quality educational programs to ensure your continuing education programs.
